Valleventis is a brand born out of the desire to bring back the essence of elegance into contemporary wardrobes. We believe in the power of thoughtful design, enduring quality, and the authenticity of self-expression through garments that tell a story.

We are dedicated to crafting premium shirts for women and men in our ateliers in Baia Mare, a corner of the world where tradition meets refinement. We work with luxury fabrics sourced from Milan and Dubai, carefully selected for their impeccable texture, finesse, and long-lasting durability.

Each Valleventis piece blends sophisticated minimalism with a modern aesthetic, maintaining a balance between classic elegance and contemporary expressiveness. We are firmly rooted in the slow-fashion movement, producing in small series, with deep respect for people, craftsmanship, and the environment. This is our way of saying no to uniformity and yes to sustainability.

In a fast-paced world, we choose to create slowly and intentionally. Our pieces do not follow fleeting trends but rather shape identity, both for the wearer and for the brand itself. Andra Clitan is the founder of Valleventis’ aesthetic vision, a name known internationally for her contemporary reinterpretations of cultural traditions in a style that is profound, sophisticated, and authentic.

A designer, researcher, and educator, Andra has built a career dedicated to bridging local craftsmanship with the modern expression of fashion, serving as a true cultural ambassador for Romania. Her collections have been recognized in Europe’s fashion capitals, from Berlin and London to Bucharest, and her projects have been supported by prestigious cultural institutions such as the Romanian Ministry of Culture and the Romanian Cultural Institute.

As the founder of the brand MA RA MI, Andra brings the same coherent vision to Valleventis: sustainable design, respect for global cultures, celebration of artisanship, and aesthetic education. She studied at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, L’École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg, and Central Saint Martins in London. She completed her PhD in Textile Arts, examining the profound connection between fashion and cultural identity.

She currently lives in Dubai, where she is an Assistant Professor in Fashion Design & Textiles at the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI). Her mission is to educate new generations of fashion creators in the spirit of sustainability, cultural awareness, and respect for the artistic heritage of the world.

Through Valleventis, Andra Clitan continues her mission to create clothing that inspires, honors tradition, and supports a responsible future for fashion.
